The Abundant Life Christian Center Church is an evangelical church as well as a school and "Learning Center." In the day care, known as the Learning Center, you will find children from three- to 24-months old. The pre-school and pre-K age-range is from 2 to 5 years. There is also an elementary and middle school that runs up to 8th grade. The center stresses Christian philosophy and beliefs in all its classrooms. It was founded in 1982 by the First Baptist Church of Wilmington and moved into its current 21,000-square-foot space in 1996.
First Redeemer is a church with a huge following in Cumming. They offer a large campus, complete with multiple classrooms, recreational areas and a coffee shop. The church has more than 160 ministries, including those for youth, seniors, men and women. They have strong music and missions programs.
The founding pastor is Dr. Richard Lee, a noted author and public speaker. As Southern Baptists, the congregation believes the Bible is the inherent word of God, and that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. They practice communion through the Lord's Supper and practice baptism by immersion.
Built in the 1950s, the First Baptist Church in San Carlos has an intimate congregation of less than 100. Surrounded by neatly manicured lawns and large oak trees, the church regularly rents out the facility for both American and Spanish congregations, as well as to Catholic charities, who have held adult day services for more than 30 years. The church provides Sunday School for youth groups and mass for all comers every Sunday at 11 a.m.
Faith Baptist Church has been serving the Fredericksburg area since 1975, operating the Faith Baptist School and Faith Baptist College. Services are also held in Spanish.
Mission Hills Church believes in love, worship and connection as the main principles of following Jesus. The church offers bible study, adult Sunday school, youth groups, men's bible study and various ministries. The church believes in personalizing services and studies to specific groups in hopes of creating a stronger connection with the meetings. The church is also involved in various community fundraisers such as Create-a-Crate, which encourages teachers to provide school supplies cut from current budge restraints. It also offers marriage meetings, BBQ activities and women's ministry. The church is located on the second floor of an office complex.
Marquette Manor Baptist Church is led by Senior Paster Dave Schlagel. The church holds Sunday services at 9:15am and 6pm and offers Sunday school classes.
