Steve Babcock's Karate is located in the heart of the NarragansettPier on Boon Street. Sensei Babcock is a sixth-degree black belt and has been training and competing for nearly 35 years. He is a world and national heavy-weight champion and is the manager and co-founder of the renowned Paul Mitchell Karate Team. He teaches Kempo-style Karate to both children and adults. This well-rounded martial arts program also includes weapon training with bos, kamas and swords. Sensei Steve challenges his students to train at their personal best and continually provides a fresh and balanced martial arts experience to all that train under him. In addition to Karate, Babcock's offers adult cardio kickboxing classes four times a week at convenient evening and Saturday morning class times.
