The Brandon Moose Lodge is a chapter of the fraternal organization Loyal Order of Moose, which has more than 1.5 million men and women in 2,000 lodges and 1,600 chapters throughout the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Bermuda. The Moose are dedicated to helping children and elderly in need, to helping the community, and to providing family recreation at a modest cost. The Brandon lodge opens its doors to the public for bingo each Tuesday at 6:30pm. It also offers a monthly Saturday night steak dinner for members. A Moose Riders group meets monthly at the lodge, and the Women of the Moose Chapter 1596 also meets at the lodge. Activities include a dart league, a shuffleboard league and an eight-ball league.

Fraternal Order of Eagles is a non-profit organization whose motto is "People Helping People"--and they do. They conduct fund-raisers  for eight major charities, including kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury funds, a children's fund, a memorial foundation and the Golden Eagle Fund. This impressive organization has had some amazing members, including Bob Hope, John F. Kennedy, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tony Stewart; even Theodore R. Roosevelt was a member.

The American Legion is a members only club. However, if you just moved and are looking for a new American Legion in the Westchase area, you can check this one out. It is located on Sheldon Road just North of Linebaugh Road. You will find Post 152 is home to all three clubs: American Legion,  American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of American Legion.

The A.L. Post 152 facility offers its members a lounge and you can use the hall to book private events. It is also involved in many things within the community. There is always some kind of charity event or function happening here as can be seen on the American Legion calendar of events. Call direct for further information.
