American Legion Post 45, located on McClure Street, provides services, support and resources to those serving or who have served in the US Armed Forces, as well as to their families and communities. The American Legion takes part in a variety of charitable and community events, and offers programs for community members. Post 45 in Canton is located near the Cherokee County Fairgrounds, which hosts a variety of outdoor community events.
