La Madera Elementary provides general academic programs to more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school conducts classes in reading, writing, math and science. It offers a range of activities that includes music, dance and physical education. It provides various before- and after-school programs. La Madera Elementary also operates a band, chorus and student council. The school offers the English Language Learners program. It operates a parent-teacher association that conducts various types of fundraising activities and special events, such as talent shows, cultural assemblies and family nights.
