Wedco District Health Department provides preventive health care services for individuals. The center offers services, such as well child and prenatal clinics, early intervention and treatment clinics such as environmental services such as restaurant, swimming pool and hotel inspections, health education services such as drug prevention and postponing sexual involvement education. It conducts various environmental programs, including topics related to animal bites and rabies, nuisance complaint, on-site sewage and private water samples. The center has association with Kentucky Public Health Association and Kentucky Health Departments Association.
